FestivalAsia announces Korean music performers at 1st edition
In a press release today, FestivalAsia organizers announced that among the many music performers which will join their festival, there will some renowned ones from South Korea.
Firstly, award-winning Korean violinist Eunsley Park will be giving solo performances. Besides performing concertos, solos and chamber recitals throughout the UK and overseas, Park’s performances have been broadcast on Radio 3 for the BBC Proms Plus.
Secondly, the wonderful duo KAYA, whom you may have seen and heard perform at the Daehan Drama Awards ceremony last year, will also showcase their talents in a concert of traditional Korean music played on the 25-string Kayagum – traditional harp – and acoustic guitar. You can have a look at their performance at our ceremony on our YouTube channel.
As a reminder, FestivalAsia will be held 15th-17th May 2015 at Tobacco Dock, E1W 2SF, where the London Korean Drama Club will have a booth, and you are welcome to join us and let other Kdrama fans know on our MeetUp events.
You can book your tickets for the festival directly on the FestivalAsia website or through leading ticket agencies: £12.50 in advance, £15 on door.
