London Korean Drama Club: #2 Event at Yijo Korean BBQ
The London Korean Drama Club is back for its second event, and here is an overview of what we have in store.
In partnership with Yijo Korean BBQ Restaurant, where we will be meeting, you will be able to eat a wide range of Korean dishes and enjoy one of the two London-based Korean restaurants with real charcoal BBQ on the tables.
Here is the menu of the evening:
- Bulgogi Kimbap : Korean rice rolls
- Pajeon : Traditional spring onions and seafood pancake
- Yang Yeum Chicken : Korean style fried chicken
- Charcoal BBQ on the table with Samgyeopsal (pork belly) and Beef Bulgogi
- Modum Kimchi : a selection of 3 different kimchi
- Bibimbap
- A selection of banchan (side dishes)
- Bungeoppang : Korean fish-shaped waffle
For this second event, special guests might be invited including Korean actors performing in the UK – although that is still be confirmed.
Also, as we are firstly a K-drama club, different topics will be discussed:
1. K-Drama Awards UK 2014: you will be able to shortlist your favorite dramas of 2013, so that the UK audience can vote independently from the DramaFever Awards;
2. ‘Learning Korean with K-dramas’: all of you are interested in learning Korean, so we will discuss ways to use Korean dramas for that matter;
3. Other exciting events based on your favorite TV shows: Running Man, Super Star K, and many more…
Let us know via email (info@daehandrama.com) any OST requests for the night and we will ask Yijo to include them in their playlist.
The event is on Monday May 26th from 7.30pm. Please book your ticket on our Edible Experiences page: http://www.edibleexperiences.com/p/112302067/Yijo-Korean-BBQ-Restaurant/190001/KFood-and-KDrama-night
… and confirm your attendance on our MeetUp page: http://www.meetup.com/London-Korean-Drama-Club/events/181902392/
If all of that seems enticing, do not hesitate and join us for a great evening!
Notes :
Service charge is included.
Drinks are not included. Yijo has a selection of Korean beers and spirits, and also soft drinks. Soju Cocktails are also available.
