We are glad to announce that the video interview of director Kim Seong-hoon (A Hard Day) is now available on our YouTube channel (see below).

This was made possible with the help of Nikki Hart. Not only is she a talented singer (you may have heard her perform LYn’s My Destiny at our Daehan Drama Awards 2014), but also an active blogger, media student and new video editor.

Nikki has her own YouTube channel, on which she publishes K-pop covers, vlog entries and other videos related to Korean culture. She actually makes her videos with the camera she won at the UK finals of the KBS K-pop World Festival – which we covered – where she landed an amazing 2^nd place, by interpreting 얼음들(melted) by Akdong Musician. It’s also through YouTube that she was pushed to join the competition, after she released a live cover of 2NE1’s Come Back Home.

Nikki makes a webseries called ‘Secret Jems: Learning Korean’ which are video versions of her blog series called ‘How to be fluent in Korean for free’. She also intends to adapt another of her blog series called ‘Understanding Kpop (I know what they’re saying)’ into a video version. In both series, Nikki provides advice and tips to help Korean language learners – which she is herself for the past two years.
