London Korean Drama Screenings spur media interest in the London Korean Drama Club
Besides occasional articles on the UnitedKpop, London Korean Links and JPOPAsia websites and a Skype interview for Arirang TV’s Korea Today, media coverage of the London Korean Drama Club’s activities has been scarce.
However, the London Korean Drama Screenings, organized in partnership with the Korean Cultural Centre UK (KCCUK), have allowed the club to gain credibility and recognition from the local media. We are very grateful to the KCCUK for that.
The London Korean Drama Club has or will therefore be featured in a number of online publications and radio interviews this month:
- BusinessBecause.com: interview with the founder, in relation to his MBA degree and what he made of it – published on March 31st;
- Gwangju Foreign Language Network: interview for a special radio station’s 6th year birthday documentary – titled “Discovering Hallyu and Korean Culture in London” – for the K-Popular segment (12:10-14:00) – aired on April 1st;
- BBC World Service: interview with Dan Damon – strong supporter of Korean culture – for the most renowned British radio station’s World Update segment – aired on April 2nd;

- Theatre For All: interview for Radio Bang, a weekly online radio show, on Friday evenings 7:00-8:00pm, at a New Malden-based radio station – date to be confirmed.
