Today, the Seoul Drama Awards organizers published their 6th Web Magazine, revealing exciting news about their 10th edition.

A press conference was confirmed on August 11, at which both jurors and hosts of the Seoul Drama Awards 2015 will be announced. We look forward to see who will be choosing the winners this year, especially as the jury has become more and more international, and it would not be surprising to have a British representative.

Besides, it had been briefly mentioned before that a selection of non-Korean TV dramas, miniseries and TV movies submitted to the competition this year would be broadcast on Korean TV channels. The organizers confirmed the channels in questions would be the four largest terrestrial channels: KBS, MBC, SBS and EBS. The number of dramas selected for such an opportunity has been revealed as well: 8. The question now remains whether they will be full drama series, mini-series (just a few episodes) or TV movies (only 90 minutes). Same here, it is highly likely that a British drama will benefit from such an opportunity.

The last part of today’s announcement was the schedule of the pre-events at the MBC Golden Mouth Hall, which includes:

  • TV Movie premieres, apparently everyday, on September 6 to 9, 5:00PM – followed by Q&As with creators and cast;
  • A Drama Music Concert on September 9, 7:30PM.

We will try to be at as many of these events and report to you.
