KOFICE’s 2016 notice of support to K-culture communities

As every year since 2014, KOFICE is inviting communities dedicated to promote certain aspects of Korean culture in their home countries to apply for financial support.

Any community from around the world is welcome to apply, should they relate to either K-pop, K-film, K-drama, Korean language or others.

Deadline to apply is April 1st and the period covered will be from April to November 2016. A combination of one-off events and regular events is preferred, with the possibility to submit all of them for consideration.

Events plans will amount the largest share of the evaluation (40%), while the size of the community, details of previous and current events as well as the expected impact will all amount to 20%.

Appplications should be submitted either in Korean or English, by filling:

– The designated form

– A detailed activity plan for 2016, MS Word-max 2 pages or MS PowerPoint 5 slids

Last year, representatives from top K-pop and K-drama sites around the world were invited to South Korea for 2 weeks to cover a special journey of discovery of various aspects of Korean culture. Hangul Celluloid and UnitedKpop/Kaja Korea were the UK representatives among the 15 selected organizations.
