The annual Kpop World Festival is back to London again for its UK round, to take place on Saturday 2 July, from 1pm to 6pm at the usual 229 The Venue (229 Great Portland Street, London W1W 5PN).

Although the UK is a great source for talented dancing crews, competition is open for both singers and dances.

Any non-Korean, aged over 16, who is not prevented from travelling overseas, can apply. To do so, you should send a 4mn (or less) video to info@kccuk.org.uk. Selected applicants will be informed on Friday 17 June.

The event will start at 1pm, with the performers on stage from 2pm, and a Kpop party following the competition between 4pm and 6pm.

The winners will qualify for an online competition providing them with the opportunity to join the 2016 Kpop World Festival in Changwon, South Korea on September 30th. The UK round and the finals are both broadcast on KBS, the largest Korean broadcaster.

In 2014, dancing crew PRISM made it to the finals, but that was Irish dancing crew GGC Crew who won the overall Grand Prize. Last year, Rebecca Strachan got the 2nd place in the vocal category.
