We are very delighted to announce that KAYA (www.kaya-music.co.uk), a South Korean duo made of kayagum player Jung Ji-eun and acoustic guitarist Jeon Sung-min, will be performing at our Daehan Drama Awards ceremony on October 10, at the Bulgari Hotel. Do not forget to book your tickets if you haven’t yet.

Jung Ji-eun is a kayagum expert, knowledgeable in both traditional 12 strings and modern 25 strings instrument. She is the chairwoman of the Korean Artists Association UK and teaches gagayeum at the KCCUK.

Ji-eun and Sung-min have been performing together as KAYA since 2002 in South Korea, and since 2005 in Europe after they moved to London. They are actually just back from a performance in Turkey.

At our ceremony, expect to hear the famous OST “The Flower Day” of popular Korean drama Hwang Jini (11.10-28.12.2006, KBS) which they also performed there.
