KBS K-Pop World Festival 2014: 15 finalists performed in Changwon
On September 25, the results for the 15 finalists to perform in Changwon City were announced. And unfortunately, only one representative from the UK was kept. That was dance crew PRISM, meaning that Jeffri Ramli did not make it through.
Yesterday, on October 19, the finalists performed on stage. But who were they?
Here is the list of the 15 who made it to the finals, including 7 singers and 7 dance crews – :
– in the singing category:
Double the Fire (USA);
Filipa Cardoso (Portugal);
FLASHY (Japan);
Helena (Austria);
INSEONG (Mexico);
Ochirba. B (Mongolia);
Natalie Trjeman (Israel)
– in the dancing category:
GGC Crew (Ireland);
Level Two (Chile);
R2E (Greece);
Vi. RUS (Russia);
High Definition (Finland);
X-Junior (Laos);
PRISM (UK)…
And in the path of 2012 grand prize winners O.M.G. Czech Republic lined up a crew combining both categories: Effe(x)tion.
Those 15 were selected out of the 105 qualifiers who made it through the local stages: with a 14% selectivity rate, the level was very high this year.
Winners will be surely announced shortly after the broadcast on KBS. In the meantime, check out the profile and videos of the finalists, and our own video of PRISM’s performance in London:
