Among the great programme proposed by the Kingston Welcomes Korea festival which opens this Saturday July 31 is an interesting conference by the UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) on ‘Doing Business in Korea’ this Wednesday August 5.

The conference will be particularly targeted at the Digital, Fashion and Smart Cities which are possibly the sectors in which UK companies are most likely to find opportunities as well as inspiring examples to and from South Korea.

Besides an introduction to Korea’s digital marketing landscape, explaining the channels  available to exporters looking to grow their online presence there, attendees will be able to learn how to protect intellectual property rights, get paid and deal with all the business complexities of South Korea.

Representatives of successful small and medium size businesses will be sharing their stories. Speakers will include Donal O’Connell from Chawton Innovation Services (IP consultancy) and Hannes Ben,  EVP International from Forward3D.

Do not forget to book your tickets for this event, or any of the performances at Kingston Welcomes Korea from July 31 to August 8, on their Website.
